There are certain voices, certain artists, that just ignite your imagination. For me, Wendy Moten is one of those artists. Her power, her soul, her raw talent – it's something truly special. And it was that inspiration that led me to write my song, "Run Away."

"Run Away" has this badass, bluesy rock vibe, the kind of energy that just takes over. It reminds me of the feeling I'd get watching Wendy perform live. I used to assist with managing elements of her shows, and being backstage, witnessing her and Garry Goin on guitar, was like watching magic unfold. That raw, untamed energy, that's what I wanted to capture in this song.
