"RISE + THRIVE" Returns, Highlighting Entrepreneurial Spirit in Utica, Mississippi

Utica, Mississippi – Saint's Emerald City, in collaboration with Just A Vibe, announces the revival of its original unscripted series, "RISE + THRIVE," with a focus on the vibrant community of Utica, Mississippi. The series, directed by Saint Allen Austin and co-produced by Utica native and budding media producer Chucky of Just A Vibe, will premiere this summer.

"RISE + THRIVE: Utica, Mississippi" will amplify the stories of local entrepreneurs and business leaders who are driving economic growth and fostering community spirit in this small Mississippi town. Building on the success of initial episodes in Tunica County, this new season shifts its focus to showcase the unique challenges and triumphs of Utica's business landscape.

This season of RISE + THRIVE was made possible with the artistic support of Alternate ROOTS, a regional organization that plays a vital role in empowering artists to drive social transformation across the South.

This season is particularly special as it marks the debut of Just A Vibe, a budding production company led by Utica native, Chucky, as a co-producer. This collaboration underscores the series' commitment to empowering local talent and providing opportunities for growth.

Chucky is excited to be a part of the RISE + THRIVE campaign. This is a chance to showcase the resilience and innovation of her hometown, and to gain valuable experience in production. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Saint Allen Austin and Saint's Emerald City.

The series will consist of seven episodes, each featuring in-depth interviews and profiles of Utica's diverse entrepreneurs and business leaders. A trailer, community testimonials, and a follow-up thank-you video will also be released.
