Biography
Writer | Media Producer | Creative Director

Born in Long Beach, California, and raised in the heart of the Mississippi Delta, I am an artist shaped by two worlds—urban roots and rural landscapes. My work is a bridge between them, blending Southern folklore, cinematic storytelling, and personal narrative into a body of work that spans photography, film, creative writing, and music.

From a young age, I found refuge in stories. Whether through words on a page, a captured image, or a song humming in the background, I sought to document the moments that define us.
My work explores memory, transformation, and the unseen forces that shape our lives—ancestry, place, and the passage of time.

My first published book, Still Got the Blues, is a collection of lyrics and poetry that captures the raw emotion of my journey through music and verse. I plan to republish it as a reflection of where I’ve been and where I’m going.
My upcoming book, Becoming Saint, is a deeper meditation on identity, purpose, and the light that was always within me. Meanwhile, Catfish & Lemonade brings my cinematic storytelling to the page, weaving together short stories that linger like folklore.
Each project I create is an offering—a piece of the story I am still writing. Here, you’ll find the work I’ve poured my soul into: photography capturing the spirit of the South, films that bring the unseen to light, songs that carry emotion in their melodies, and stories that remind us of who we are.
